  Church of Sainte-Madeleine

Mentioned as far back as 1274, the church of St Mary Magdalene was of old a dependency of the priory of l’Ile Barde. The present building was preceded by a sanctuary established in the plain and known by the name of Notre- Dame de Buriane. This church of Romanesque origin, greatly modified, used to be that of the mediaeval fortified village.
